The Patriots have just traded Ryan Mallett to themselves for a third-round pick. Greg Schiano says it was the right move they had to make

If Cleveland traded a mid-round pick for Cousins I would be OK with them not drafting a QB. You can quote this in September.

I'm so sick of Oakland wasting midround picks on blah QBs via trade/draft.

Why does Mallet make sense if they're getting Clowney at one? He's not a QB you want.

The most Chiefs pick possible is Cody Latimer. The most Jets pick possible is Demarcus Lawrence in the 1st.

Though if the Patriots do trade Mallet it does mean they're drafting that Savage guy in the mid rounds somewhere, and really, no thanks.

Aw man my boss just txt me and I have to have a meeting with our PR people today right when the draft is meant to start. At least she wears tight dresses. I don't know why but I can't shake the feeling Carolina ignores both WR and OT in the first.

Can other Bears fans tell me what/who I should be rooting for them to pick in the first 2-3 rounds? It seems like they have needs everywhere (gonna include QB on that list!). Even their WR depth sucks after the big starting duo.

Oh yeah that reminds me.quote:According to Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle the Raiders were enamored with Savage before most other NFL teams began showing interest. And now that the secret is out, if the Raiders want him, they may have to take him with their second round pick. If this happens, you can find me at the bottom of a bottle of Jager.

@RapSheet There is no deal between the Patriots and the Texans for Ryan Mallett. But the interest from Houston and Bill O’Brien is real. #Staytuned --- There's an alternate rumor that fiveaces is trying to turn this into a 3-teamer in which they flip Mallett for Glennon.
