I love that 3MB seem like the only team that do the comedy jobber angle properly, at least in my opinion. Just the way they ham it up and present themselves is amazing and the fact that they're all pretty drat good in the ring helps too.

Andre The Giant vs Chuck Wepner, the inspiration for Rocky Balboa. This worked shoot is far better than the Ali vs Inoki atrocity that headlined that night, but it's still mainly worth watching for history and novelty. You do get to see an agile and athletic Andre, getting peppered with stiff body shots and not gassing out through 2 1/2 rounds. You also get to hear a very young Vince McMahon Jr on commentary, before he adopted his horrible early 90's commentator voice. "1-2- WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION, wait, no didn't get him." Interestingly, the fight was used in Rocky 3 with the part of Andre The Giant being played by Hulk "Thunder Lips" Hogan. It probably doesn't help that the fans poo poo all over Rey both times he was out  The Heyman Promo and the Main Event make anything about the show I didn't like pretty moot though. The former was gold even by Heyman standards and the latter was mindblowing, it was like pure ecstasy from the moment Sandman's entrance starts to the moment the camera's turn off. But I really do think '06 is just overall better. ECW fighting WWE to prove it's worth was more compelling to me than a reunion show.
