Is there a way to get into Wii Mode without turning the TV on? Seems like an obvious feature now that you can use the GamePad as a screen. It's silly if I'm forced to turn the TV on just to enjoy the convenience of not using it. I can deal if I must, but my TV is a plasma monster that takes like 15 seconds to fully power on and display the current input.

Hey, so, I'm thinking of picking up Child of Light, but I've heard mixed things and now I hear it's coming to the Vita, so I'm torn between whether I want a shiny RPG on my Wii U or a new Vita handheld. How does it run on Wii U? Is the game worth getting, or is it too pretentious/easy to bother with?
