So during one of the million and a half HSS clips on youtube, I heard Howard mention that they were going to do a whole bit about the origin of a lot of Fred's audio clips. I know there was one of these bits from like... 1998, but this was a more recent episode, possible on Sirius. Does anyone have a link to this, youtube or otherwise? I really want to hear that.

That's from an episode of Our Gang There was a drops special, that's where the pic in the vid is from - "Power Of the Drops" on Sirius and I believe it aired last year. Someone had it up on Youtube but clearly it was pulled.

Is it just me, or does Benjy seem 'off'? Every single other person on the show, staff, wack-packer, guest... they all make sense to me, even if they're nuts. With Benjy, he's there a lot, he rarely speaks, and then when he does, it's like he waits between words or something, and what he says just seems like his mind is somewhere else.

I wouldn't be surprised if he sets Howard up with jokes as he's going back and fourth with him. It is a strange dynamic no matter how you slice it though.

I think people under estimate the amount of writing that Benjy does off the cuff. I pretty much imagine that every single one liner that you hear come out of Howard's mouth is written by Benjy. I wish I could think of some examples but alas I cannot.

Too bad Benjy won't let out a little hee hee after every joke he wrote like the Jokeman used to do. It would be way easier to track.

The Gary Pitch Saga is one of the best Stern show moments since they went to Sirius. They recently replayed the whole thing and it's great. I love that Gary still thinks he can pitch yet clearly can't and it bothers him so much. Jimmy Kimmel having him pitch was the icing on the cake.

Okay Eric...here's the scenario. Brandy is your handler...and you just poo poo your pj pants. And she's gotta clean them up. But she's not doing it fast enough, so while she's cleaning your lovely pj pants, you wheel over and gently caress her.

By the way, I saw a gif of Carl Lewis' pitch, which Gary had claimed was worse but of which footage was impossible to find. It absolutely was worse, it went about 5 feet and went straight into the ground. It was abysmal. 50's is also worse than Gary's. Gary is still top 5 but there's definitely been some worse ones.
