^^^ A+ I think they probably put the super-long arms on him because regular ones wouldn't have been as distinctly visible in their flailing during the final 2/3rds of the drop, and without the flailing the fall would probably veer out of the comic into the solemn.

I just watched one of the extras on the Robocop blu-ray, and that armature actually had normal sized arms. Maybe it has something to do with the perspective/matting?
