I swear to God, some people can't see it. I've noticed this with perspective issues too, some people are just blind to it.

I love the lighting on Tika and her expression. She's very close to being the villain in a poster for a suspense thriller.

Vagabundo posted:Look at Michael Rapaport. Just look at him. Jesus gently caress. Why do they do this? Photoshop heads? It never looks natural and whatever disadvantages the original pose had can't be worse than the disembodied horror they come up with. Are the actors just not there for the photo sessions and they're using body doubles?

Uh what do you mean almost every poster has photoshopped heads, some are just better at it than others. Don't blame the studios, the fault lies entirely with the talent who were mostly self-conscious before publicists get in their ear and distort their self-perception and general sanity.

A sleeve flare launcher equipped with an explosive payload of course! Or do you mean the weird three-arm, three-gun drawing from the poster? Pretty sure that's the Chaingun Cannon from Duke Nukem 3D if you ignore two of the hands.

Please be as over the top noir pastiche good as the first one. Edit: Might be in the best of the movie makers own interest to not screw this up, Alan Moore could set an Elder God after them otherwise. It's a probability! ubergnu fucked around with this message at 08:08 on May 30, 2014 |

Mechafunkzilla posted:Holy poo poo, Troma did a Rambo ripoff? Anyone know if it's any good? It is absolute trash in the best way possible and that poster is so loving misleading, it may as well have wizards and dragons and poo poo on it. The whole movie's a day in the life of a ptsd vietnam vet who's unemployed, scummy as hell, and lives with his pregnant wife and mutant-baby. He has nam flashbacks while traversing 80s New York and the ending is one of the grossest things ever committed to film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTH6ntY9IaE It should also be noted that Troma only helped finance the completion and distribution of the movie. Buddy Giovanassi whipped this bad boy up all on his lonesome. This right here is guerilla filmmaking at it's nastiest. If you're looking for a Troma war movie, there's this which I haven't seen, but the trailer makes it look pretty hilarious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ur0AWbj19_U ruddiger fucked around with this message at 19:18 on May 30, 2014 |
