The D-Day landings were less about defeating Nazi germany, and more making sure the soviets didn't push all the way to the Atlantic. Something like 7/10 Nazis killed died on the Eastern Front (at incredible loss for the Soviets).

I can't wait to see what he does for Rememberence Day. It's like he has no idea at all how inappropriate he is.
