They're all tying in eventually in the sense that they reference each other's contents and exist in the same fictional universe, but I believe GotG and Ant-Man and other new content isn't being directly tied back into the main Avengers mashup until Avengers 3. That should be when all the Infinity Gauntlet stuff is ready. I think Avengers 2 is building up solely from IM3 / Thor 2 / Winter Soldier stuff, although there might be some nods to stuff they knew would be put into later films.

They've actually been on the loving ball lately with Phase 2, if you checked out before Avengers you should at least watch Captain America 2 (which is pretty much second only to Dredd as far as recent action movies go). e: I'm gonna be legitimately surprised if GotG doesn't work for people.
