How's the heat dispersion on this thing? My Wii sits nice and perky on top of my 360 (I have limited space, my entertainment center is more of an entertainment kitty-corner) without giving it any trouble, but I get the feeling I'd be pushing my luck trying it with its fat older brother.

I always hate how people showing off how to play a game seem to not be very good at the game. The guy playing Captain Toad was going on about how he's the biggest completionist there is, while skipping the big coin stack in that video. It wasn't terrible, but it reminds me of some gaming news site having Mario 3D Land footage a long time ago, where the guy was barely capable of playing a level without dying 8 or 8 times, and was going on about how hard the game was. And it was something like.... Regular world 3 or 4. And he was pretty must running off ledges or jumping to his death seemingly completely on purpose. I'm enjoying the footage for Splatoon now though! Toad I'm going to need some more convincing on. Or at least a lower than $60 price. It seemed interesting but not amazing enough for a MUST PURCHASE just yet.

Holy poo poo Nintendo saved my faith in the game industry. After how boring every previous conference was (I mean, I was psyched for Bloodborne and Uncharted 4 but those were one-minute teasers) it's incredible just to see so much color and so little shooting mans, and so many good ideas, yarn Yoshi looks incredible, Captain Toad getting a full game, multiplayer shooter without guns, Hyrule Warriors actually looks great (for what it is), Bayonetta 2 AND 1 holy poo poo, freakin' MIIS AND PALUTENA. Iwata vs. Reggie in a stupid DBZ battle is the savior of video games, people and yet, the whole industry is probably already saying nintendo is dooooooomed

I found it to be a pretty average conference overall elevated by how loving terrible every other conference was. Nintendo was the only one that seemed to have this crazy ideas to attempt to make games look fun.

They have a breakdown of these games anywhere? I thought about picking up just a Wii U as my console (since I have a PC for good looking games and don't need a Xbox/PS) in the past but there really wasn't anything good out at all. Now there's that new mario world game and mario kart, so I'm thinking about popping by Best Buy tonight!
