People always talk about Hulk Hogan for some reason but the real reason Rocky 3 is memorable at all, in any way is Mr. T. Rocky does nothing memorable whatsoever. Mr. T has an unreal presence in it and should've beaten Rocky into a coma.

I think it was Dumb and Dumber To wait this long to make a sequel to the original. I thought the original was funny when I was a kid, but I haven't seen it in over a decade so I don't even know if it still holds up. This one just looks like a bland Adam Sandler comedy. Or that Three Stooges movie that came out a couple years ago. The trailer doesn't really make me want to see it at all, but maybe it'll turn out okay. Guess we'll wait and see.

Maybe it's because the original is such a favorite of mine that I enjoyed seeing those characters again. I laughed at a few points.

That trailer was sad - and pretty much everything I was worried about. You know that friend from High School? He had a really lovely job and he was pretty funny. Well he has the same lovely job now, never really grew up and is telling the same jokes (mostly). CaptainHollywood fucked around with this message at 03:23 on Jun 12, 2014 |

About 20 seconds into the trailer I thought the same thing, but something about it started cracking me up. The original was one of my favorites of all time and I don't think you can really evolve anything. Just tell a new story with the same characters (looks like what they're doing). I chuckled/laughed at most of the jokes so I'm in. Don't know if it's just nostalgia, but I don't really care either way!

gently caress it, that was hilarious and it really brought the juvenile inside of me out. Might just be because I haven't seen Jim Carrey or Jeff Daniels act so ridiculous in years.
