Nah, the whole thing led to him turning his life around.

He honestly thought it wasn't that bad, and he posted some pictures of his house "after a bit of cleaning" and it was something out of Hoarders Extreme.

As a cynical man all I can say is that this comic has no right to be as funny as it is. It is pretty formulaic in terms of premise* however it just works in a way that most of the other comics like it don't. I mean, it's not an amazing webcomic by any stretch, just suprisingly not bad.

*Four friends playing D&D, one's a 'silent bob', one's the chaotic neutral/evil (NPC) murderer who disregards rules, another's the overly serious straight man for his murderous friend, and the last one's the DM who enables the former.
