Lots of comments that it is the FA's fault for not pouring money into grassroots. The FA has put more money into grassroots than any other FA in the world. It's the reverse snobbery culture in this country that's the problem. The team last night was full of Liverpudlians from v. poor background & low IQs. FA should create a college system similar to US in partnership with private schools.

The reality being it was a 70 yard punt by an opposition goalkeeper on a newly designed football which was poorly timed, 40 yards out from his own goal with 1 attacker being marked by two defenders behind him and a supposedly world class goal keeper getting beat by a definite world class striker from a tight, but defendable angle.
