I tried W101 for the first time, absolutely hated it, learned that I hated it because I didn't immediately buy the spring and weight abilities, watched some videos on how to play the game despite not having the abilities, and think the game is okay now. I took advantage of Target's "buy two, get one free" thing to get Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, and Rayman. Then I used the Mario Kart code to get Pikmin 3. I played some Mario Kart, but I will probably go back to Xenoblade soon enough.

Platinum does the same stupid thing every game where they make you buy the dodge and block move, and buying both is so cheap you'll immediately have the points for it. Its completely a bizarre design choice. Just start your players with the fundamental moves of the game, Platinum.
