I've always wondered what would happen if someone filled the smokestacks on a truck that is rolling coal up with expanding foam sealant

Not sure, but a quart of ATF goes over like a fart in church and a 5lb sack of flour is good for a laugh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3h6T26s1V4

ATF is great because it makes a giant cloud of white smoke when it hits hot exhaust parts, or is inside hot exhaust parts. GL5 I figure would just... burn. The kind of retard that thinks rolling coal is cool would probably think it was AWESOME if his stacks shot flames, and start doing it intentionally.

I think that's why you need to add some sort of flammable gear oil, and then flour. BOOM.

The trouble with that is the exhaust takes a minute to heat the fluid up enough to smoke. With the flour, you get instant gratification!

You're pretty much the odd man out if your diesel truck isn't straight piped, lifted, and on awful terrible wheels. I'll have to get a picture, but there's a powerstroke I drive by every day that literally has stacks that are a foot in diameter.

The huge diameter lowers the flow speed, making the big bad smoke clouds look distinctly unimpressive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqFxTzd69b4 I also like the description of this video. "Yeah, we know they're loving stupid, but rednecks will pay us bug bucks for 'em so here we are!"

Sell the opposite, a super narrow pipe that shoots a column of smoke clouds high into the air.

I love the huuuuuuge drop tongue on the one in your video Kastein. You can almost see the moment when he backed up to his trailer, realised the hitch was at his head and the trailer was at his knees.

I'm a big Chrysler apologist and there is no Chrysler car to bad for me to defend. Our Dodge Journey is getting the rear bumper re-attached under warranty again. You can see how the bumper is starting to bulge out. this is because the bumper is fixed to the car by the use of a zip tie looped around a metal screw drilled halfway into the frame rail on one sie, and a bare rear end hole on the other. The zip tie is no longer present. Putting on a new one finished. Other side I suspect the old ziptie was no longer present because small movements had caused it to rub against the bare metal screw until it broke and fell off. The bumper subsequently starts to buckle out of shape. This is the 2nd time now, I can't help but think there is a better way of attaching body panels to cars.

Geirskogul posted:You're loving saying a loving dealer did this under warranty? Yes, maybe it wasn't clear but that's not some ghetto hack repair, the bumpers are actually attached like that from the factory. The factory zipties broke off after about 18 months, the car is a MY 2011 and this is the second set of new zipties. Just get them done during regular oil changes. EDIT: Imported from Detroit. Hahah what the gently caress, that's seriously the factory repair? They can't even find an unthreaded screw? I'd just wrap the drat thing in electrical tape before putting the ziptie back on. Can't wait until the ziptie finishes eating through the FRP bumper cover, bet it's making one hell of a stress riser.
