i tried playing that new tomb raider and couldn't really get into it, dunno why tried playing pikmin 3 and it's fun! first pikmin i've played, been sat on my shelf untouched for like a year, i'm using the wiimote but having to dance between that and the pad is a lil annoying still got zombiu i've barely played i question my purchase

c two worlds 2 s: ok so i'm in the second "half" of the game now. there are basically no more sidequests, i'm locked into a relatively tiny island full of monsters that insta-spawn on top of you (glad i'm playing melee), they took away my ability to fast-travel, and i keep getting main quests that railroad me back and forth over and over across this island interrupted by a bunch of stupid cutscenes also this game leaks memory like mad, it tends to get unstable after it's up to 1 gigabyte of ram in use lol

c two worlds 2 s: in the last level now there are these big guys that are clipping like crazy through everything. i can kill them in two hits but if they manage to get a hit on me i ragdoll into the walls and they just keep comboing me until i die, so i just make sure to kill them before they even see me

for those that are curious, this "open world" game has two large open continents where there isn't a single cave to discover without a quest (and if you discover the cave before the quest you can't go in) and the second half of the game is on rails the caves all look the same your guy flaps his arms like a duck when he talks to people in his brooding, gravelly voice he is in love with some orc chick that he's seen like four times i can't wait to see the boss i bet it's a shitshow

every single chest in the game is locked and the lockpicking mini game is annoying also you never find treasure in the dungeons, you occasionally pull a good weapon off a bad guy but mostly you just find the best stuff by robbing people's houses and picking the locks on their dressers full of damage crystals and giant two handed broadswords
