Don't hosts sometimes retain the rights to their content? I wonder if Anthony has any grounds to not let them replay his material ever again. I doubt it, but that'd be hilarious.

My favorite O and A bit was when Anthony was creep shotting in Times Square, was called out on it, beaten, and proceeded to go on a racist rant on Twitter which cost him his job.

Some times people buy the tapes back (Stern) or license the material out (Ron & Ron Radio Network) but, for the most part, the broadcasting company owns the rights.

Ugh...are things like wiffle ball bat and gallon of milk challenge the types of things that made O&A popular? Obviously, most of us being haters, I'm probably in the minority, but their biggest strength was finding humor in all things: whether it be serious/sensitive/offensive topics (The hallmark cancer cards), news, other radio stations, and just random topics that would come up from callers or the hosts themselves. To center a podcast on 90's era stunt bits (Turd?!)...I guess even Anthony's comedic sharpness has got to dull at some point.

I was always a fan of them just shooting the poo poo with guests or themselves, riffing headlines. Those were always they things I enjoyed. There does seem to be a core audience that never grew up from the nineties and still thinks that poo poo is funny ... and I think that's why I tend to avoid the actual O&A community altogether.
