Well, despite Hitchens being pretty opinionated he was also a somewhat accomplished and prolific writer, and Fry has been moonlighting from his comedian/actor/director stuff as a political activist for years. Even with the disclosures, for volume of work done I believe they have a better safety record than any other group in the world- and they're actually disclosing the exposures, which is sadly not as common in other national research entities.
