ALL-PRO SEXMAN posted:Please bitch about Ramadan. I would like the bitching ITT to be more multicultural. First, a primer for the uninitiated: I am not Muslim, I just happen to be romantically involved with a Muslim because that's who I was stupid enough to fall in love with. Ramadan is Islam's ultimate holy holiday and is the equivalent of EXTREME LENT. How it works? Muslims are not allowed to eat or drink from sunrise to sunset for 30ish days. During the seasons with shorter days, it's tolerable. However, during the Summer when the days are longest and also hot and miserable this whole "holy" experience becomes a massive hassle and pain in the rear end. Seriously summer Ramadan is bullshit. It's supposed to be this time of like spiritual holiness or whatever but so many Muslims just use it as a cock waggling thing to compete over who is the MOST BEST MUSLIM EVER. The lack of eating and drinking during some of the hottest days of the year makes my s/o cranky as gently caress and impossible to deal with. But his family sends me gifts of clothes and gawdy-as-gently caress jewelery, the ones who know me better get me video games. But, I hate getting gifts and I never know what to buy anyone and am poor thus hate the holiday for so many reasons. Eid is the last day of Ramadan, after which you can eat normally again and is kinda like Christmas in terms of its celebration, but not. PS Pick if you are Slut Peddler chick thanks for hooking my sister Meg us with awesome comicker work. We (she and I) love you. Jenner fucked around with this message at 07:21 on Jul 13, 2014 |

Pick I am very happy that you are back. There was a radio story about bees and it made me think if you. Av the story about kids then depression is terrifying to me because I'm terrified of post-partum depression and also the possibility of having kids and then Mr. Monkey being like "ew this sucks now I am miserable". That is very scary and also deeply upsetting that he left his wife alone with the kids. Suicide is difficult to deal with because you don't want to be pissed off at a dead person but it's the most logical reaction. My best friend's roommate (and friend) committed suicide and set it up so that my friend would find him. Luckily my friend sensed that something was wrong and called the police rather than going into the room. It really hosed with him and now I have useless anger and frustration towards a dead guy. Anyway I had some empty spaces in my garden where seedlings failed so I got a jalapeño and an eggplant and I'm pretty happy about them.
