 This is Cody, my boyfriends weird cat. He is wonderful with people, but completely autistic with other animals. He doesn't know how to interact at all, and often ends up ignoring them, looking as worried as he does here. At some point, (an actual) catte will be aquired (yaaaaaay!) and I want one that will not terrorize Cody. Ideally, I want one that will love him and want to be friends, but given Cody's aforementioned lack of capacity to be social, I know this is a lofty goal. How does one choose a catte who is bad at being a catte? I need an absolute cuddlemonster who loves dogs.

Go to a shelter and tell them your story and they will present you with catte(s) that are appropriate. Or just get a kitten and it'll probably be fine.
