Not all battered women, but some who have been hit probably pressed the male very much or he wouldn't have went off the handle.

Bro, it's still a disgusting attitude. If you're just trying to make some tautological point of "hey, if they weren't having an argument in the first place, things wouldn't have gotten so heated!" or some stupid poo poo like that...it plays in to a viscous, pernicious attitude toward women that has to be confronted head on. Whatever edgy or "logical" point you're trying to make is completely eclipsed by the obvious, ostensible stupidity you should feel as you type what you did. It's not a thing to be discussed casually or equivocated about. Don't pretend like you're just trying to advocate some sorta crisis counseling about how to deal with an abusive, violent person.

I don't get it either. He's about as mediocre a stand-up as I've seen. I know the bitter comedian who hates all the mainstream comics is his shtick, but it comes across as jealous and sort of pathetic.

I'll give him this: I just listened to the address, and almost everything he said on Anthony I pretty much agree with, I just hate the pandering and patting of himself on the back to get the audience to clap like seals.

That's true, but he did do the same kind of stuff when I saw him live a few times (comedy festivals and what not). But I get your point that it's more likely an audience of peers...

I think we're all missing the point here. SiriusXM hired Stephen A Smith which I'm assuming means he is receiving money from the company for his "talents". SXM wouldn't give ESD's show a little extra scratch or retain any of the Saturday Night Virus shows to help flesh out the channel but this shithead gets hired to give his fresh and insightful thoughts on sport. I would imagine some SXM execs are crowing about how they hired away a top-level personality from ESPN like it's something to be proud of. Once again, SXM can get hosed.

So they fired one loathsome prick to get the money to hire another loathsome prick? Sounds like a fair trade.

P.s. SiriusXM doesn't even acknowledge Davey Mac exists, he wouldn't factor into any big moves they make at all.

East Side Dave is loving awful, that's why. He's not funny, he's an over the top radio bit that expired years ago.

This is not defending Stephen A Smith in the least, because he's a misogynistic race baiting oval office, who was fired from Fox Sports Radio years ago for being as such.

I agree however watching what he said, his point is somewhat valid and people are loving ignorant if they disagree. Just as with anything if you provoke it, it's more likely to react, a snake for instance. So when a woman is belligerent herself and acts crazy she isn't "asking for it" so much as she is running the risk of that anger going overboard in the male to where he uses physical violence. I saw his point and people are way to sensitive.

Haha, I looked him up, and he literally said that women should "do their part" to not provoke their own beatings. You can feel his regret halfway through his own monologue.

Yeah that's why I said half valid. The real prevention is leaving abusive people but it doesn't happen enough and the abuse continues, mental or physical or both.

I mean the whole topic was on Ray Rice and his lady is still with him.

Random money I owe to my drug dealer, a bowl, bandaids, leatherman tool kit, a desnorer stuff for snoring. Another playstation, a stolen police license plate [which he turned into a necklace], the welcome to suny college sign. Rap magazines and notes from last semester. A pair of pants.
