i have to use ms office. at first it looked surprisingly clean but after 1 day i've uncovered so many terrible things. started making a list enjoy

Autohotkey cannot disable Windows + L, only a registry edit can disable this particular hotkey. Actually, it disables lock mode entirely. It's like this hotkey is hard-coded while others are not?

Ctrl+F in Outlook forwards instead of finds. Wow, that Bill Gates story was true.

Hiding the Ribbon in Outlook also full-screens the app with no obvious way out.

There's no unified notification system in Windows 7 (it seems), so Outlook and the identical looking Lync have wildly different looking notifications.

Outlook does not seperate messages very well in conversations. It's visually hard to see where one ends and begins, similar to reading messages before conversation grouping was popular. Conversation mode just groups the messages together in an accordian view.

When resizing a window vertically in Lync the username disappears momentarily.

There are two buttons used to switch the footer "Mail", "Calendar", etc menu between two visual styles. Why not a toggle? And why two styles at all? Why a always-present two buttons instead of an option in a menu.

There appears to be no way to change name display settings in Lync. So all names are Last Name, First Name. If this setting exists, it's very hard to find.

once every 5 years logitech should sell a good mouse for a month so u can replenish your strategic mouse reserves. it'd be a marketing/sales coup like the disney vault
