Has anybody ever suggested Panda buy Spike TV to finally give TNA the platform and promotion Impact needs to get to the next level? Help me out here, rovert.

I've definitely seen that on TNAsylum. I'll take a look when I can stomach it. e: this isn't that, but it is rovert-related flashy_mcflash fucked around with this message at 19:01 on Aug 7, 2014 |

AMC has had good results with Crystal meth in the past so they probably see money in Jeff Hardy.

And that's 500k for two years. Which, if this weren't totally a troll, would be a quarter million a year. Still too much, mind you.

From the DVDVR boards, a place I loved a decade ago but is pretty much poo poo now: quote:Ambrose/Rollins made the stipulation for the match meaningless about six minutes in, had some lovely crowd brawling and wandering around ringside, and then had that terrible spot where Ambrose dove on Rollins while the latter was being carried back by the lumberjacks which was so lame and clearly set up that it took me totally out of the match. Obviously, it worked with the live crowd, so obviously "actively bad" is a more obviously subjective judgment than it would be for many other matches, but I really hated it. I don't think pro wrestling is for you, son.

Fauxhawk Express posted:From the DVDVR boards, a place I loved a decade ago but is pretty much poo poo now: I like how he used obviously three times in the same sentence. Also it's kind of incredible he could say "They made the match stipulation meaningless" with a strait face. I don't think I've ever seen a Lumberjack Match work the gimmick so creatively and extensively.

If you didn't pick up from the hype video that Ambrose and Rollins was going to be an uncontrollable brawl, I'm not sure what it would take.
|
# ? Aug 18, 2014 16:30 |
Rollins tried to leave and the lumberjacks forced him to come back to the ring and get curb stomped by Dean, which is exactly why Dean chose that type of match. Yeah, what a meaningless stipulation.
