Wait, does "new character reveal trailer" mean that it's a brand new character being revealed, or does it just mean that it's a new trailer revealing what could be an old character? If it's the 2nd, it should be Wario. If it's the first it should still be Wario.

Yep, most of the veteran fighters have just shown up randomly alongside the pic of the day. There will be no trailers for characters like Wario or Ness or Ganondorf, unless they just incidentally show up in someone else's trailer. Also, I don't think Nintendo's ever done a Direct or other promotional stream on a weekend. It's always on a workday, and for SSB it's always with some advance notice from Sakurai himself. can we talk about earthbound because i just finished mother 3 and it was phenomenally good. why aren't games like this made anymore? the combat system is fun and more functional than lots of modern rpgs. the rhythm based combos, the clever writing, all of that
