Dominic White posted:I'm really excited about this. Pathologic was a great game held back by technological limitations and a publisher-outsourced trainwreck of a translation. For a game that relies so heavily on text, that was just awful. Ice-Pick Lodge have got both of those issues worked out. The Void showed that they were capable of producing some gorgeous looking 3D environments, and they did the localization for that in-house, and it worked out great. I'm so stoked for the remake, hopefully the localization won't be completely incomprehensible like last time, otherwise I will be really mad, Ice-Pick Lodge

And if it does, will the improvements be patched into the current version?

It looked pretty loving amazing on PC when it was released, and all that DLC is kinda worthless in my opinion. I can't see a reason to rebuy - gently caress, I even rebought DX::HR Director's Cut. I guess if you played it on console maybe? But certainly not on PC.

http://www.nuuvem.com.br/produto/1618-metal-gear-rising-revengeance Steam key. Metal Gear Revengeance is 8 bucks. It looks like it's limited to North and South America or something, I'm not sure. MG:R is a great loving game. The combat is pleasurable and challenging and it's got a very fun story and characters that are fun and interesting. Voice acting is good and it's such a fun game. I ddon't even really like DMC-like games overly much, but it's so fun. Eruonen posted:http://dictionary.cambridge.org/pronunciation/british/piranha There are parts of the world that aren't America? Accordion Man posted:That also reminds me of The Sabotuer, which did that really well too, namely the last area, has you ascending the Eiffel Tower to confront Dierker, the big bad Nazi dude that killed your friend who's throwing a party there with the other Nazi commanders. Instead of some big final battle you find that the Nazis have gone into a panic and started offing each other due to the French resistance retaking Paris thanks to your actions. In the whole sequence, no one attacks you, they either commit suicide, are already dead, or are too devastated to care all to the tune of this. You then find Dierker at the top who's just run out of ammo after shooting one of his own men, so you can just take him down with one shot. Games really shouldn't be afraid to pull off non-actiony climaxes like that because they can be real effective. The Saboteur is a game I tried to get into a couple times because it seemed like a game I could absolutely get behind (story, aesthetic, etc) but there were just enough unpolished gameplay elements that it had a hard time keeping my interest. Really wish I could have stuck with it though because that ending sounds really cool!

Drifter posted:http://www.nuuvem.com.br/produto/1618-metal-gear-rising-revengeance This cannot be repeated enough. I finally finished MGR last weekend and it was incredible. Blasting through some of the achievements now, like trying to tackle the bosses without getting hit. Best part is the bosses are a hell of a lot of fun, so I don't mind repeatedly trying them. I will probably start the included DLC campaign in the next few days. If it's half as good as the main game I know I won't be disappointed. I've played a lot of games that are "good", but MGR is straight up "fun". I knew when I sat down to play a mission in an evening I was going to have a good time. I could do with more games like that in my life. You are an idiot if you don't pick it up for $8.

I will probably start the included DLC campaign in the next few days. If it's half as good as the main game I know I won't be disappointed. I can also vouch for Revengeance being amazing. I'm not typically into character action games like God of War or Devil May Cry but when I got Revengeance I ended up beating it three times within a month. The game is really good if you're into absolutely ridiculously over-the-top scenarios like picking up a Metal Gear Ray by its blade arm and chucking it across the city. The DLC is hit and miss. The first half of Blade Wolf's DLC kinda sucks but the second half is fairly fun and is capped off with a rad boss fight that plays to Blade Wolf's strengths as a character. Jetstream Sam's DLC is pretty fun but also notoriously hard because he controls WAY differently than Raiden. Both are worth playing but also I'll probably replay the main game way more than the DLC.

I wish there were conversation notifications, because all the conversations are good and there are so many. It'd be a shame if people weren't stopping all the time to converse with their teams. But still, a notification alert would have been amazing to get each time a new conversation could be had.

Nefarious posted:http://store.steampowered.com/app/285500/?snr=1_614_615_WeeklongDeals_gridsale It's an open-world vehicle-combat trading game. You upgrade your truck, put better weapons on it, blow people the gently caress up in the post-apocalypse. There are a lot of trucking quests in it, because you drive a truck, but getting goods from A to B involves murdering the poo poo out of bandits with your machine-gun turrets. E: Basically it's sort of like Elite, if instead of piloting a spaceship you were an off-road trucker.
