What's the childbirth equivalent expression for "dick measuring"? Vaginal tear measuring? (good name for a rock band)

The woman who posted that dumb pig/John Lennon image macro just posted "art" she made for her and her girlfriend's anniversary, which was just a picture of them with a multicolored stripe filter over it and the text "Happy 62 Months" in the bottom right corner. Yes, you read that right. A 62 month anniversary. She is 40 years old, has been in a relationship for over five years, and is still posting monthaversary stuff. They also went to a Linkin Park/30 Seconds to Mars concert last week, but admittedly that's me being judgmental about music taste.

Newsflash to all old people on Facebook in the coming weeks: it is possible to think it's sad that a celebrity is dead and also think that it's sad that are troops are dying, too. They are equally sad things. The fact that you are sad about one does not mean you can't think the other is sad also. Thank you.

I feel bad right now because early this morning an 8 year old girl was killed Ina really brutal, violent fashion by her mothers ex-boyfriend, but now that Robin Williams went and offed himself, it's been completely overshadowed. I realize he was a big celeb and all but it just seems so sad that everyone went to talking about this poor little girl then dropped it all totally. You're still in my thoughts, kiddo

Annnd this is basically what I'm talking about. This should be a logical fallacy if it isn't already because it's so drat annoying. The "Why is Obama talking about the gays when we're in a war?!" "Why do you care about your car breaking down when there are kids starving in Africa!" kinda thing.

This is one of the most infuriating things in the world to me. I can't stand this idea that humans are robots who can only care about one thing at one time. The best part is whenever someone says it they act like they've just cracked some secret code about humanity "Oh, you're sad Robin Williams died? Heh, I mean, people die all the time, I don't really see the difference, what makes HIM so great?"

While we're on this, from a public page for inhabitants from my city. I'm just glad someone was able to solve this death do quickly. I just want to picture that it is a conspiracy, and some low-level illuminati intern is reading a public page from Albuquerque and going "Oh poo poo, I have to let my manager know this guy figured it out." Uh, okay? Congratulations...? Hell of a laudation for the passing of a great actor. She's posted 26 variations of "Robin Williams is dead", "Awesome actor passed away", "My favorite actor died" in the past hour. Completely unrelated: How do you have two lasts?

I was referring to the last comment by Purple. Also I'm guessing all the children in between the first and last in say, four children, are the "middles"?

Or it could be two children that fit the description of lasts.

The best part is whenever someone says it they act like they've just cracked some secret code about humanity Yeah, but the first thought I had after "oh no, that's very sad," was that now the media is going to go into 24-hour Celebrity Death Blitz Coverage mode, and some very real and very pressing issues are going to go uncovered because it's easier and less controversial to run memorial stories on an actor. He was obviously a very prolific actor that inspired a lot of people, but I certainly hope media coverage of his death won't overshadow things that happened immediately before and after that still need to be discussed and reported on. I mean we don't know that that's going to be the case yet but that's generally been what happened after other celebrities died unexpectedly.

You have one set of kids (say three, for argument), and then after your third is grown you have another. The baby of the original trio was a "last", and your newborn is also a "last" but also an "only" as well.
