I dont really see the point from Microsofts side though, this cant have been cheap, and I dont see a true exclusive tomb raider game shifting consoles, let alone one that they have basically paid to delay on their rivals console. My suspect is that Microsoft is still considering the videogame business as a cable set top box business where exclusivity and release windows for content probably matter more than other markets. What did they call the haveblue posted:I don't care how quirky or indie or mainstream or big-budget something is- if it appeals to me I'll play it. Agree.

The European download is so much larger because of the various language packs it includes, a Blizzard spokesperson tells Joystiq: When I played Destiny originally it downloaded only the Italian voices, when I switched the system to English then it downloaded 600Mb for the voice pack.

Always gotta bitch about something. Last gen: Fuckin' M$ putting ads all over the dash This gen; Fuckin' Sony not letting me customize the UI because that's totally a thing consoles have allowed in the past, M$ did it better If these are the biggest problems than I see no problem.

You can organize the Xbox 360's UI with the "My Pins" section. It's not very good but it is better than Sony, who won't let me remove their legion of lovely WWE/Redbox video apps from the TV & Video folder, and won't let me organize my games.

Yea it strikes me that Spencer was all like " Yo we got dat Tomb Raider here only! Nyah!" And then when called to clarify on it, he gets all "Look, I'm not the king of the universe! That's just not "I have to scroll a bit ", that would be really annoying. The XMB was a better UI paradigm, and that was not very good either. Hell, the Vita allows for folders. I can manage apps better on it then on a PS4, and that UI is hot trash.

If I was getting paid for this I'd be putting much more effort into it instead of just calling dummies what they are. Would it be nice to be able to organize the UI however you want? Absolutely. Is the fact that you're not able to The Worst Thing? gently caress no. If it takes you more than 5 seconds to find the game you're looking for then there is something wrong with you. Yeah if they included customization in a future update I would like it. But if they don't, meh. There are much more important things to work on.

Fateo McMurray posted:If it takes you more than 5 seconds to find the game you're looking for then there is something wrong with you. It would be nice if the console did not actively hinder searching for games by keeping the list in no particular order and randomly moving stuff around sometimes. vvvvvv There's a bunch of items on my list that I've never accessed (ShareFactory and a couple of Plus games I haven't tried yet) and they're sprinkled in among the stuff I definitely used. Also, that's a terrible strategy for more than, say, the last five items used.

I think what would have been nice would be if Sony had like, finished putting together their UI and all the features they talked about pre-release before putting out their product instead of rushing it to market not even half done just so they could beat Microsoft to the punch. Also let me uninstall the Playroom that I'm never going to use, as well as all the icons for the video apps besides Amazon and Netflix.
