By invite, do you mean Friend Request? or something else? I have included some kind of "I'm a goon" message on all my friend requests. I hadn't realized that you could change squads mid-game, so thanks for that tip!

That's strange then that no one has accepted. Well I sent you one over but I mostly play in the early afternoon (pacific time) with the UK goons. Also, don't feel ashamed about joining the winning team mid game if it's a landslide against you either. It makes the game way more fun.

All right nerds. My life's settled down a bit and I've moved out of the San Francisco cesspool, to charming and scenic New Orleans. I've decided it's time for me to save my $$ and hop back on the PS4 wagon. Hopefully in a few months time I'll be mans shooting with y'all again.

Ha. I loving wish. I made myself completely broke getting here and am finally getting big boy paychecks and rebuilding my finances and actually budgeting and poo poo. Yeah I could do it as an impulse buy, but I gotta eat and pay my (outrageous) electric bill too. Also I still don't have internet except for my phone, so it wouldn't do me much good anyway. Soon. Soon I will shoot a man and it will be good.

After grinding out DMR's for the last week or so of shootmans, it's such a relief to go back to using weapons I actually like. Advice for peeps who don't like locker: Go support, rock your favourite LMG (M249 represent) and set your perk as perimeter defence. Pick a point, and become a one man defence squad. Joined a 1600 ticket server the other day, managed to hold our home flag almost entirely alone thanks to some creatively placed claymores and the extra-suppressive nature of my M249. No lie, it's a satisfying feeling to watch a guy drop to a claymore as you machine gun the 3 surviving squad members who tried to sneak along the outside.

Carrier Assault is pretty fun, but nowhere near as fun as Titan mode was in 2142. I think I like Chainlink better. Blowing up boats with the SRAW is fun though. I'm still trying to get the hang of shooting down choppers with it since my rocket never seems to catch up with it even though I'm leading the crosshair a little bit to where the target is supossed to be.

Yeah, the airburst is actually better than direct hits because of the small delay, if you hit the helicopter odds are you're going to deflect off and not do enough damage. Also airbursting is the easiest way to wipe repair bitches out of the littlebird and you know they're pissed at you.

Can somebody explain to me what BUTT is (aside from the place the bad man touched me when I was little)? Is it different from BF goons? Do you have to register or join or something? Or is it some inside joke I'm just missing?

Hainan is fun for the boat or LAV murder, but if you're rolling as infantry it's just miserable. I've given up on Flood Zone. I don't even enjoy highway control anymore. The only fun part of that map is taking/defending A.
