That really doesn't mean very much. I know we're all hopped up on being on the front lines but "the fog of war " causes a lot of misinformation during high-stress times and is pretty easy to misread by people who aren't in it. Hell, even people who are in it, like the cops mistaking fireworks for shots fired. I heard fireworks yesterday when I was leaving QuickTrip and I posted "shots fired?" On Facebook and freaking out a bunch of my friends before I realized and updated Edit: not that I want to be a dick about it, but there are lots of people at protests the cops SHOULD arrest like for example whoever set off the firecrackers.

Watching the police threaten to shoot someone filming protests and then seeing on-the-spot delivery of cables by random strangers- all while sitting in my room is basically the best proof I've seen that we are, in fact, living in the future.
