Crunchyroll usually doesn't do it because they don't have the time to negotiate a translation with the song's artist. Japanese copyright law is kind of a dick about song translations.
I'm pretty sure CR just don't want to spend any money, because Funimation has subbed OP/EDs in shows I've watched.

They also subbed the Nyaruko OP when it weirdly showed up in WUG.

The new Sailor Moon does, they have the songs subbed for Madoka and I think AnoHana too.

Well, in Sailor Moon's case, the translation is being done by niconico and is streamed by multiple sites in English, so it's probably out of Crunchyroll's hands.

When Viz does the translations themselves, it seems like they do sometimes sub the OP/ED stuff, like with Death Note, but then the openings/endings in the 90s Sailor Moon on Hulu are left untranslated.

Like any mediocre shoujo, it will make you want to pull out your hair after the 10th or so ~misunderstanding~.

So if you like the feeling you get when your follicles are abruptly uprooted, then yeah, it's good.

The weird thing about Ao Haru Ride is that it almost presents itself as being a little different from typical shoujo, but take a step back and it is the most typical shoujo ever.

As someone who has never really watched any shoujo before I'm enjoying it well enough. Nothing about it seems remotely original but I don't hate the characters and they have some nice watercolor (or imitation watercolor) background art.

Still watching Love Stage. Still kind of disappointed. The production values are really high, and there's actually a lot of legitimately funny moments in the series. It's still mired in stupid yaoi bullshit, and I wish it was actually realistic in that matter cause then I'd be parading it around. As it is now, though, I'm hesitant to recommend it unless you have a high tolerance for it like I do. :(

Still, if it's your thing, definitely check it out. It'll give you a few laughs.

Yeah I'm watching it too and I'm torn. It's awfully pretty and has lots of funny moments. I find it weird that every male character in this show is gay or soon to be gay though. Is that typical in yaoi? I'm not really familiar with the genre, but after enjoying the first episode I went in search of the manga. That thing has a lot of fairly graphic sexy times in it. Didn't know yaoi manga is basically porn. The more you know!

Dunno if it's worth making a thread for it but Hanayamata is pretty good if you like cute girls doing stuff and a bit of yuri subtext. I still don't have much more of an idea what yosakoi dancing is than when I started though. I'm assuming it's like a Japanese version of morris dancing.

I was enjoying Love Stage as well until the typical yaoi poo poo raised its ugly head, why do they have to spoil a cute story like that?

Selling well enough apparently doesn't mean anything in the industry these days since m3, a show that is selling so bad they practically gave up on sales, is getting a PS Vita game.

M3 really IS Fafner holy crap

Same kind of thing happened with Lagrange, to my knowledge nobody really cared about it but lo and behold it gets a PS3 game, same with Fafner that nobody watched until SRW raised it from the ashes (yet its sequel is almost pulling a Duke Nukem Forever on us at this rate). So I get the impression a video game isn't as huge and risky of an investment as one might think.

That said goddamn it, M3 is an interesting show, if understandable why some would be put off by it, and it is sad that they're doing negative marketing for it.

I just watched Kurage because of the good will in the thread here and oh my, did it sure as hell end in an awkward spot in a super obviously rushed, made-up anime-only ending. I wish they would have just gone with what happened in the manga with the Space Shakespeare Jellyfish thing.

Either way though it was really really good and I'm really enjoying the manga now. I love how the artist often sorta slips into 70's shoujo style art.

Yeah everyone always complains about anime going on too long and never ending, but Kuragehime and Kids on the Slope did the opposite where they ended without having a satisfying resolution at all.

I LOVE the way Jojo's is structured so far though. There are clearly defined arcs, the characters have actual stories that end, but so far the stories do a good job like feeling that they are a continuation of a previous story while still being a stand alone story. I mean also it's like 90% guys fighting so that probably helps

I'm a bit disappointed (but not surprised) that the anime looks nothing like the source material style-wise, judging by the human characters at least.

The announcement was made last December. There's been several "Anime production is underway!" comments like the one in the ad below. The twitter account for the Young Ace editorial board merely says that it's on the cover (likely due to the next volume being released next month) and perhaps they could reveal the cover with manga volume/publication announcements tomorrow.
