The corvette is now owned and driven by Kaj Dahlbacka. He has been racing it this season in Sweden and Finland.

Oh, so that's why it didn't show up in Copenhagen this year :(

I hope the new owner decides to bring it back next year, it's always a huge hit with the crowds.

I don't know if it was mentioned during interior chat but all of the interior of that Pantera was done by Nike, not the company that did everything else.

My friends, I have found something I've been looking for for decades. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, I was finally able to find it.

In the mid-'80s, a teenaged meatpimp poured over every bit of car literature that was available. Motor Trend/Car and Driver/Road $ Track, along with sales literature from Benz and Porsche. During that time, I found a picture of a BMW that stuck in my head, it had the best livery of any car I'd ever seen.

As I said, I looked for it for years, but I was looking for a BMW Art Car, since that's what I remembered it to be. Nope, it was a racing BMW that just happened to have the most awesome livery that I've ever seen, even now. Behold, the #11 BMW 635 CSI (I want to find a better picture of it, but it is an x-ray type of presentation of the interior of the road car):

Some of my favorites are the 917 pink pig and the Audi R8 crocodile.

I like how interpreting the "dumbed down" terms require more background information on the function of a car than the actual word we use for those parts.

Ooooo, a 78, which means carbs instead of shitbarn injection and more power. My father-in-law was asking about late 00s Maseratis and I told him that he would probably be happier with a 308 for the same $30k price tag. Maybe not as fast, but just as good-looking and you can actually work on a 308 yourself, so the maintenance won't put you in the poor house.

Seems like the biggest problem is these three thinking they're race-car drivers, but not having the actual reaction times to match.

Powershift
Nov 23, 2009

Yeah, going 10/10ths on a public road with slower traffic that close together, they're fookin lookay this time, but it's only a matter of time before they gently caress up, really.

This is why the nurburgring camera ban came about. jackoffs sticking close together and likely driving faster than they normally would to show off for the camera.

I don't think it's fair to blame it on all three.

The red car got stopped without any problems, thought not exactly in a great spot.

The blue car managed to be aware of the two cars in front of him, as well as one car that was behind/beside him and make the correct decision to go to the right and then successfully avoided the other two cars.

The biggest problem there is the guy in the black car. He talks about ten seconds into the video about the other two cars being faster, and in his effort to keep up he cuts so close to the car at ~25 seconds that his passenger/camera man says "woah woah woah!" Then, while the red and blue cars slow down because they caught up to that white car in a corner, the guy in the black car stayed in it to try and play catch up.

The result is that he was going way too fast to stop in time and had to cut into the grass and spin because he was too panicked/inexperienced to know not to brake when half off the track.
