Someone please call this man a human being or something so he'll talk on his own radio show. Thanks.

Or you know, fire someone for being completely unwilling and/or incapable of performing their job.

To be fair (and extremely generous), hasn't his role shifted to being more of a producer / booker / behind the scenes guy? I remember his "new roles" being brought up a few times. There's still no reason he should have his name in the title of the show, but he may actually be doing work that isn't on-air.

Considering he starts crying if he can't find a piece of production in the system fast enough, I would assume he's not heavily involved in anything of meaning.

Also, there's the beginning of this clip where Ron pretty much talks poo poo about Fez short arming a project and not caring.

Sorry, I figured everyone knew about it because they've been talking about it on O&A for years. Opie and his wife are listed as producers.

It's pretty much Bonnie interviewing comics and exploring the stereotype of women being lousy comedians. Most of the O&A regulars are in, including Patrice. There's also about five minutes of Rich & Bonnie in studio on O&A which must have been from a while ago because Danny is still in the Sam seat.

There's some great "My Life With Rich Vos" moments in there too, with him being his usual idiot self.

Think Opie basically funded the entire thing because he said as much when Rich and Bonnie were in a few weeks ago.

Oh I knew about the movie, but saying "the movie is on iTunes" without a name or link or anything was leaving me grasping at straws. And I still might be SOL since I don't have an iDevice or an Apple TV.

Anthony confirmed that he makes more now than he ever did at SiriusXM. Also he has to get a new merchandise dude because the merchandise dude's wife read on the internet that Anthony was a white supremicist.

A lot of people bought in but the good thing is that he really hasn't gone on a 'here's how it really is with those nig-" rant yet. He's seems to be actively avoiding that type of poo poo now that he's reliant on subscriber fees, from what I heard.

I may be misremembering but I think Op said he put up 10 grand to get the movie made.

Another note, now that Ant is gone it kinda seems like Sirius is going hard on delivering more content on the channel what with the tuesday night shows, Erock getting his own show, Sam's poo poo show, and Ron and Fez coming back. Not to be all :tinfoil: but it seems like Sirius was just waiting for the right time to finally boot the racist before committing to pushing the channel.

It hasn't been long enough for the first wave of looky-loos to disappear from his balance sheet. Though getting the ad money himself instead of it going to SiriusXM is probably helping a lot.

Didn't his first show have something like 22,000 views? Even if everyone only got the 1 month plan for 7 bucks just to check it out that's about $154,000 before taxes.

Well regardless of how much he says he's making, the model he set up is pretty solid. He doesn't need a million people to listen. 5 to 10 thousand people paying at least 5 bucks a month plus ads is plenty to sustain the show and make a decent profit

Wasn't it mentioned that he made $3 mil around when he was fired? Opie mentioned at some point that the number might of been inflated but lets use it just for illustration.

That would mean he's got about 36k subscribers annually subscribing month to month, which I would assume that's probably what he meant. Ofcourse he is making more so we'll count the ads and merch sales as that. This is probably bordering on liberal, but is realistic/feasible

If we go with the 22k number, which is the bottom basement number of subscribers we can guess that is 1.3 mil assuming that they all subscribed annual (obviously not true but this is just to show a bottom basement number)

The devil is in the details though, he may be bringing in more money but revenue isn't the same thing as profit. He now has a ton of new expenses trying to run an online service that are going to take a big bite out of his revenue and presumably at some point he's going to need to hire somebody. Also advertisers are only interested on eyeballs on the screen, there probably aren't a ton of advertisers willing to pay a whole lot of cash for 22k viewers without any sort of centralized market. I would imagine he has a lot of short term contracts for advertisers speculating until consistent viewing numbers come in and then he's going to be grinded down there.

As much as I hate to say it I don't think he has a retention problem as the people who are going to subscribe to him were willing to look past his racist views and are pretty loyal to him. I would hazard to guess he'll maybe lose 10% of his subs but I can't see his fans leaving en masse.

As I said before his pricing model is actually quite good, he's got a core number of fans that won't leave him and are willing to pay through the nose, nobody else is really going to be interested. Once the merch and ad money starts drying up I highly doubt he'll be making anywhere near the number in his head now.

Yes there are both video and audio archives of the show. If by rather quickly you mean within 1-3 hours than yes, but he did just hire a couple tech guys to make sure it doesn't get to be too late afterwards.

He's also handling the bulk sum of incoming money before taxes, as opposed to just his share after SXM does the Fed/State tax and SS and all that. If you're actually watching his new thing, it's going to be funny when the initial subscribers start falling off and he has to watch that big lump get siphoned away. It will be interesting to see how much of a "TAXES R SLAVERY" whacko he really is.
