If they ever did put that rule in, they could still have Air Bud play, but in a wig. At the end of the movie it will be revealed that it's a dog but Air Bud has taught them all so much about teamwork and friendship that they will let him play anyway. There will be one kid whose heart is broken after their crush turns out to be a dog.

Eh, they seem to get lazier and lazier every year. I bet the first one, back in 1899, was on Strathmore cotton paper and hand-scribed, with a gold-embossed university seal ganked from the registrar's office when nobody was looking.
