for anyone that still gives a poo poo about Bubba, as of today he has been removed from the morning drive show on the Bone in Tampa. He is being replaced by Mike Calta (aka Cowhead who normally did the afternoon drive) and is no longer a part of the radio station.

Bubba was great at first. I loved it. When his contract expired and he started doing two shows a day (local morning Sirius at night) it went downhill. By the end it was practically a 4 hour commercial. Every caller was about some chicken dip or mudflaps or some other garbage product.

Yeah bubba when he was exclusive was good. Who knows what the deal between his show and Sirius was. I miss the shockin the puss, the homeless guys getting poo poo poured through a fan toward them, etc. They used to do ridiculous poo poo. Ha

The chicken dip stuff was hilarious at first because it was so absurd. It got so old after a while though. Even on the old Sirius show, Bubba was the worst personality on the air. He is truly a vile person. The rest of the cast was great though. I really did like Spice, Brent, and even the Ned gimmick was great.

Bubba always seemed to me like a poor man's Howard. Like if Sal decided what bits would go on the air, they would be all the stuff Bubba does, just crude and baseless shock stuff. Howard usually had a bit of a better sense about him when doing things, it always seemed calculated at least, Bubba just seems like a reality TV show full of terrible people that you can sometimes laugh at.

RIP Joan Rivers I was one of those types that harped on Joan being a guest every three or so months (it seemed that way, anyway) and skipped every other appearance, but all told you could have done a whole lot worse. She was pretty edgy until the end, and that's awesome.
