Hoodslam IS pretty good for that reason alone. If you want to see a match where Ryu and Blanka fight a drug addict bunny and a New Jack Winnie the Pooh, its right up your alley. The videos are (at least what ive seen) pretty low quality.

Lance Storm said that Steiner would do stuff like this completely off the cuff, unscripted, without clearing it with anyone, just going out and ranting about whatever was on his mind instead of doing whatever his promo was supposed to be. Nobody wanted to be literally murdered by Scott (he tried to rip DDP's head off at one point and it took 3 or 4 guys to pull him off) so I guess they just rolled with it. Note Buff trying to get the mic away from him for like 15-20 seconds.

Every time Ring Of Glory pops up around here, I kinda dig the overall gimmick. Christianity has a bunch of weird and cool mythology you can draw from in the same way that Chikara apes Comic Books. But then they go and gently caress it up by having Percy literally be Satan, and to literally have Jesus come out and Save Jimmy Rave from going to The Dark Side. Granted, this might just be because Russo was booking it and we all know what a BASTION of storytelling he is, but there's small poo poo like not making a big deal over the fact your Championship was a loving god damned Bastard Sword. Sword Marks, which are a real thing, love new swords with mythology around em, and you could have gotten some extra viewers just by doing simple poo poo like having close ups of the drat thing. But they didn't, so now here it is years later and there ain't poo poo about the company.
