like, if a woman with 100k twitter followers calls out her rapist by name on twitter with proof, is she calling out her abuser or is she recruiting an army? the proof is important to me, otherwise you get the cards against humanity situation in which a woman accused someone of rape and then disappeared in the ether never to be seen again. which is kinda bullshit if you ask me but, whatever.

I can talk to a few conservative friends of mine who are sympathetic to MRAS were disappointed by that and one of them is not even buying the game because of it. Even GTA:5 got criticism that there are no female leads. Just five or even three years ago these conversations wouldn't even exist. So yeah, misogyny is still a really big problem in video games, but anyone who thinks it isn't getting better isn't paying attention. It doesn't help at all when people say "GAMING IS DEAD! MISOGYNY KILLED IT! WOE WOE!"
