So a couple weeks ago I was in small-town Kentucky, where I'd grown up around, and whose local paper at one point auditioned Get Fuzzy when it was good for a month before replacing it on an ongoing basis with Funky Winkerbean during the depths of its Cancer Angst Woes. Naturally, during my return, I rechecked to see if Funky indeed still dwelled on its pages, which it did not for reasons unknown. (The Gay Prom Goers storyline probably did it in.) Anyway, instead it had something from Fort Knox, which looks something like this. So yeah, the Messenger-Inquirer is still hitting it out of the park on the funny pages.

I'm amazed someone liked "Jack" enough to finish it. Though I guess Gilchrist hasn't seen Jack that he couldn't finish. Double up on Pickles! Cows and cats are treacherous! and some Bleeker! Autumn is here! Things will start dying soon!

So I saw earlier in the thread about that "Zen Pencils" comic and how bad the robin williams tribute was. I checked Gocomics to look for it, but couldn't find it. However, I did find this. Zen Pencils might be the worst comic I have ever seen. Edit: Oh, the tribute comic is on their website. It's terrible. Gloomy Rube fucked around with this message at 09:04 on Sep 2, 2014 |

Fingerpori - Seppo we're really worried about your drug abuse - I'll show you an intervention Väliintulo, "intervention" (or "interference"), is a compound word: väliin means (as an adverb) "(in) between", (as a noun) "into the gap" etc.; tulo means "coming". Every time I read this comic it sits on my head like the world's smuggest elephant.

Tommie has been in Happiness Falls or whatever this place is called since the start of April. We are now on month six of the slowest, most boring story in this comic's history. I've been amused at the highly inappropriate smiling faces during this story. But then, that's all that keeps me coming back to A3G; the faces that never match the words. My boyfriend was the worst.
