The funny thing for me about this picture is that it's probably cheaper for the clean-up than it is to replace the new cartridge someone dropped, especially if it's not covered under a consumables/service contract.

It isn't good to breathe in in huge quantities, but unless you work in an off-brand Chinese toner factory or clean up a mess like that every day, it's nothing much to worry about. I think the old liquid copier fluid was nasty poo poo, but toner for Xerographic processes (almost everything that's called a "laser printer" is actually a Xerographic printer, real laser printers use specially prepared paper which is why you don't see them any more) is basically just fine powder that is electrostatically attracted to the paper and then melted onto it.
