Kind of related, I was informed today that according to the last UK census Heavy Metal is a religion with over six thousand followers. I'll be asking my boss tomorrow if this means I can claim all gigs as a religious holiday. Our company is ridiculously paranoid about upsetting people when it comes to religion and will practically allow anything if the words, "Religious beliefs" are applied so I wonder how far I can push this for laughs... although I'd feel guilty given I'd kind of be mocking others by doing it.

One of the main tenets of Heavy Metal is mocking religion, so you'd just be acting on your beliefs.

I think they recorded this album on a cassette recorder after they'd been up all night at a party or something, they were super-quiet because they didn't want to wake the guy sleeping in the next room.

This custom job showed up on a Facebook group I belong to. I personally don't like the paint job, especially on the back where it's going to get scuffed all to poo poo. That pickguard also doesn't seem to fit the motif. He is going to play it in a rockabilly band, so maybe it will look better with the matching classic C&W outfit and pompadour.Facebook User posted:This is a parts caster.
