https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niRtGwCafR4 In a world, where speed is king and ratings are on the line, 16 warriors begin an epic journey. A journey of Nations. Where a Sweet 16 will enter, four are slain, then an Elite Eight battle on, and a Final Four will have a final March to Madness. They will fight, for the ultimate goal of defeating the League of NF in ratings of television. All for the glory of an epic Championship Showdown, and a 7th Game Moment. FOR THE CUP. This epic odyssey is known by but one name. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXDNlI7yreo If somebody could make a Chase montage set to the CBS NCAA basketball theme song mocking the Chase, I'd be eternally grateful. And yeah, Kidc, I'll get right on figuring out how to make the picks public.

I loved all of the game7 announcer clips that they played last night during nascar promo time. This isn't game 7, this isn't NCAA, or Hockey or baseball. All this bracket crap and the like is a bunch of poo poo. Remember when the best driver for the whole series won? Personally I think next year they should make it based on merchandise sales with an inverse multiplier of lowest combined pit stop time for the season. But daytona weighs 3x since that's the superbowl. I can't wait for someone smarter/more dedicated like Lastcar or KidCole to crunch the numbers and come up with the fact that the winner this year would have won anyways with the old system except now there's more "Drama". Personally it's a bunch of horse poo poo that if a driver won 5 and 10 top 10's then his (or her*) motor blows and is taken out by Danica in the "championship" isn't the considered the best racer of the year. Plus you have a majority of other cars not in the "chase". It'd be like if the superbowl had a bunch of other teams players milling about on the field. /crumudgeon *yeah right only way she'd get in is fan vote

Did anybody tell Brian last year's Super Bowl was terrible? I mean "Nobody's watching this anymore after the first quarter" bad. The BCS National Championship game saw Alabama blank LSU a couple years ago. So "Championship Games" sometimes suck. Peanut President posted:Wow I'm the only one who picked Earnhardt in group 1? really??? You're the only one that took Kahne in Group 2, too. I'm only half-looking, but if I'm seeing it right, I'm amazed nobody's picked the same five drivers yet. e- Mischief, did you deliberately pick Junior in Group 1 AND pick him to finish last? The chase sucks and Brian France is destroying the sport, but I cannot be the only one really looking forward to a completely mirthless and ruined-by-rules Game 7 that is guaranteed to be filled with Debbie Reis flags and blatant "Race Control". I'm pretty sure everyone is going to be going home angry except like, the citizens of the Nation of Newman or some equally awful choice of winner. Also, I don't really have to watch anything up each eliminator race & homestead to still enjoy the largest serving of hot southern disappointment. poo poo is gonna be great.

I feel like a bad person for my picks on that there spreadsheet, but am glad I got on the NASCAR train late enough this season to have missed all the great driving done by some of these guys to earn all those points that now mean nothing at all. May Ryan Newman win and Danica go on a winning streak due to half the field parking and retarded cautions

wait why the gently caress is there seeding if it's a knockout tournament, doesn't everyone start on equal footing or is is like reset to 5pts difference?

I chose Hamlin, which I'm sure will end up looking retarded, but I can't do anything that might make me subconsciously cheer for Kyle Busch.

I would love to see Kurt Busch, who was 21st in points, barely squeak into each elimination and then finish best at Homestead to win the whole thing. Just for maximum breaking of this.

If someone wins in one of these races, they automatically advance to the next round right? Do they get any bonus points for that round for winning?

That said, I'm sure France will personally tell them at one of the driver meetings pre-race to lose a race or else.
