Freep isn't that offensive anymore because it's so repetitive. Half of us right now could make up Freep posts for anything that could probably pass for the real thing, because after days/months/years of reading this stuff it's like staring at a random post generator, and after awhile things start repeating.

If you removed names, I'm sure the Trayvon Martin posts would pass for a Michael Brown post. The only thing that is new, the only thing that still can get me is if there is an entirely new development (unlikely) or something happens that just loving takes them over the top and then they commit ritual suicide en masse.

This is about 90% of the reason I want Hillary to run and win. Freepers would loving lose their poo poo, and it will be so glorious.

What's the most concise and fun source for going back and laughing about the 2008 campaign? There were sooooooo many hilarious flubs from Romney/Ryan but it seems like the climax of the whole thing has pushed other stuff out of the story. Stuff like Romney's awesome foreign tour where he pissed off every country he visited, or the time he tried to give out a note from his accountant saying "Please excuse Mitt from releasing his tax returns, I assure you they look great".

After having read through the A.C.E. thread a bit I can't help but get mad at this. You poo poo stains literally have an education system built around doing exactly this. As in it's whole purpose is to feed ideological nut bags into positions where they can use the influence of the position to push hard line agendas.

Is this why you think that there is a gay conspiracy like this? Is it because you are so used to seeing your side doing this reprehensible poo poo you just have to assume there is a global gay conspiracy to help justify your own hosed up world view?

It is interesting though, that there are Freepers defending him, despite their supposed hatred of the NFL and especially of black athletes. I can only assume it's because Janay Rice is black. If she was white, I have a feeling they'd be united in their hatred of him. Like his political counterpart, Goodell luxuriates in anodyne causes largely removed from his actual duties: breast cancer, head injuries, kids’ exercise, etc.

Both are (or were) lawyers and both choose to substitute their own whim for the written law with the usual claim that what they are doing is ‘too important’ to be subject to statute.

There was also an interesting (to me anyway) exchange between a couple of Freepers I don't feel is worth pasting here, but basically one Freeper made a comment that they saw people wearing football jerseys in church and how far we have fallen! Someone else made the comment that why does it matter what they were wearing, church is open to all, and hey at least they're actually going to church which is more than can be said for most people. Another Freeper likewise posted the lyrics to the hymn "Just As I Am." The one who made the initial comment responded by saying "Well God always told people to look their best when they came before him and it's a matter of respect." I suppose that Freeper hasn't read the stories where Jesus hung out with lepers and tax collectors.

I think his argument is that if Rice got in a bar fight with another man and punched him the same way, there would be much less outcry because it lacks the perceived power imbalance of men versus women, but this outrage is hypocritical if women are now able to perform duties that were once considered too physically difficult for them.

Yeah, in the masturbation about Israel by right wingers it is always important to point out to them their decision to not enforce sodomy laws in 1963, their military that is for all faiths, orientations, and genders, and has been for a really long time. And extensive discrimination protection for gender identities and orientations. Granted, since muslims are allowed to skip out on military service, only serving voluntarily, there are some hiccups.

That and the fairly progressive nature of the state always does put people through knots in conversations when they try to work around those.

I don't think the modern right wing admires or seeks to emulate The Jews any more than their forbears did (in fact, they are probably just as antisemetic in most cases). It's just that they need the state to exist in order for their doomsday prophecy to work properly and also think it's nifty that there is somebody around who is 24/7 willing to go kill some arabs.

The rainbow , for thousands of years , has been the sign of the covenant between God and man , to never destroy the world with water again . It has been the favorite vision of sweet little girls . Along with unicorns . Nowadays the rainbow and specifically the rainbow flag , has become yet another symbol of the perverse . How dare they ? How about just calling them “ queers “ and for a flag just use toilet paper . They go thru so much of it .

Homosexuality Has No Genetic Cause

A genetic cause for homosexuality is not scientifically possible. A homosexuality gene, if it existed, would quickly die out. However, it gradually becomes clear that [b]liberals and progressives are poorly-educated about science. They passionately believe in evolution, yet they don’t understand it[b]

So that's why I didn't get recruited by 'the queers' huh.

On this issue I fall squarely on the “environmental” side. Sexual orientation and preferences don’t start forming until around age 10-12. Usually by age 18, you’re pretty much set as to what “turns you on.” I recall that by age 16 or 17, I had pretty much decided what I liked and eventually found a wife that matches most of those interests. There are experiences and “triggering events” that help shape these tastes. If we think about our lives we can probably spot them.

The queers know this, and that’s why they like to target boys and girls around the ages of 12-15. Those kids are becoming curious, but haven’t settled on anything yet. That’s why they are recruited.

But they will take what they can find. If you are an unattached male, and do not surround yourself with a strong group of friends as soon as you get on a college campus, I can guarantee you will be strongly recruited by the queers.

ONe theory is that prenatal conditions can predispose a baby to be more reactive to post birth influences. For example I met a gay man, small and frail who said that when he took an interest in advertising showing women in bras and panties, his family made fun of him repeatedly. If an infant is sexually aroused (erect penis) when his mother holds him, she can ignore it and continue to hold him happily, push him away from her body with tension, or smack him on his penis. A baby smacked might remember it since such “maternal” behavior would probably be repeated in other ways. The baby who felt his mother’ tension and rejection at his natural excitement to be held by a mother who had just come home from work would probably not remember such subtle anti sexuality cues. If gay, his inclination might be to think he was born that way.

I grew up going to school with 2 men and 1 woman who were gay all the way back in preschool. Everyone knew it.

Just like people are born bipolar or left-handed, people are also born gay.

However, homosexuality is the only birth “anomaly” that we don’t try to treat, cure, or medicate which is interesting.

(Heck, Teachers even attempted to “cure” me of my left-handedness.)

But just because it is “natural” (i.e., it occurs in nature just like a 2-headed baby) does not mean it is “normal.” And it should not be treated as such.

Homosexuals have higher rates of depression, suicide, drug abuse, and medical “illness” than the general population. It’s not a lifestyle that should be encouraged.

There are a lot of homosexual men who discovered they were born gay after they were molested by homosexuals when they were children. Funny how that works, and funny how normalization of homosexuality increases the likelihood that it will continue to work.

You start to hear that sort of poo poo right around now in the lifetime of any 8-year presidency. I remember the same things being said about Bill Clinton and Dubya. It's just people being afraid that the president they hate will turn out to be just as terrible as they always thought. Though I'll admit that it was a tremendous relief to see GWB get onto Marine One and leave Washington.

Eh, as much as I hated Bush I could tell he didn't want anything to do with the Oval Office after January 20, 2009. Cheney and those fucks? Yeah, they'd have stayed if they weren't constitutionally prohibited.

anime is not good

I wonder if freepers would make less "kill 'em all" statements if they knew that there's a pretty good chance the logger response to this will be to come in force and kill, rape and burn down all the resisting villages they can reach. Like most of the time it's an abstract thing, so a making jokes about killing people might be seen as harmless, but this is a contentious issue that often sees people killed in horrible ways.

Pretty sure if anything they would be rooting for the loggers even harder at that point.

Also, love that Marxist dogs made it to the thread title
