1.) A cheerleader from the 50s or 60s comes back from the dead as a ghost to help her boyfriend with something, and the only thing I remember was that their song was Baby, I'm Yours by Barbara Lewis. I think he drove off in an old convertible after visiting her grave, and the song starts playing on the radio after it was requested by her as one last ghostly thing at the end of the movie. Had to have been from the 80s, no later than the early 90s.

2.) Guy pulls up at a gas station in a hurry and starts honking frantically at some dude filling up his car. The guy at the pump says something like, "Take it easy, pal. Not everybody can afford a Mazda, you know. Some of us gotta work for a living." Had to have been early 80s because the gas pump dude had a 1970s land barge and was supposedly taking forever to fill it up while the Mazda looked like something from the early 80s.

I remember a movie sometime around the late 90's or early 2000's featuring a character that acted as if they were special needs, and it was revealed that they were in fact not. The character either was a villain, or fronting the act for a hidden agenda. I keep thinking it was Edward Norton, but it isn't Primal Fear. The character may have been a janitor, or someone with a need of music comfort, and speech impediment.

Probably The Score Which was Marlon Brando's final film, not counting Superman Returns. (That's the only reason I was able to find it since it's got such a generic name, I rembered Edward Norton being in Brando's last film and it having a plot like that).

I think this is true both of Edward Norton in The Score and also in the other film that was mentioned. In the case of the Norton character I don't believe it was a twist, I thought his character pretending to be mentally retarded or having CP helped him get an inside job at the place being heisted due to his being seen as harmless/incapable and out of sympathy and charity.

Ok, I watched this one on Netflix about six months ago:

I think it's set in Scotland because I had to turn on subtitles, everyone sounded like their mouths for full of poo poo. Anyway this guy is a retired hitman I think, has a son and an ex-military Swedish wife. He's in financial trouble and an old colleague shows up with that one last contract (real unique I know). But it starts drifting into hosed up territory pretty quick. They meet with the employer and he cuts main guy's hand and smears blood on the contract.

Each hit is increasingly hosed and preceded by a black screen with their occupation in white letters , number one's a priest who simply says 'thank you' when he sees the gun. Two is 'the librarian', they find a huge stash of snuff films and child porn in his storage unit, go to his house and brutalize him. Like REALLY brutalize him, course he's saying "thank you" the whole time and unnerving and enraging the hitmen.

The last act jumps into full laird Barron violent fever dream mode with shrieking cultists, golems and all sorts of crazy poo poo.

Movie was awesome but had a really generic title, help goons

The people in the forum have some incredible memories, it's my turn to ask for help.

Here's what I know:
1) 80's / early 90's science fiction movie.
2) A "B-movie" like many of that era were.
3) The main character looks like the guy who gave Arnold the suitcase in Total Recall (Michael LaGuardia - see below)
4) He is in a spaceship that has landed on Earth, but he (and the ship) are small. I think he landed in an alley and the trashcans are much bigger.

Here's what I suspect:
A) I think it's a sequel.
B) There may have been flash backs to the first movie involving a fight on "his" earth (where he wasn't small) against some monsters or aliens.
C) May not be his spaceship, but one he took from the monsters/aliens.
D) The rest of the movie may involve him trying to escape more of the same monsters/aliens, in an overly large world.

I can vividly recall only a few minutes of this movie. The rest is a complete blank. #2 - top right pic for what I think the main character looks like http://www.pitt.edu/~goscilo/Sci-Fi/FilmStills/TotalRecall.html

Not much to go on. Thanks for your help.

I remember watching a movie about runaway robots back when I was a kid. It was on TV in the early 90s, so it was probably made in the 80s. The main characters were a bunch of obsolete robots that were gonna get scrapped, one was like a butler android, another was a female lounge singer android, and I think there was one that told jokes?

Anyway, the robots decide that getting scrapped would suck, so they bail. Most of the movie is about their waaaacky madcap journey, with a little bit of the inevitable ROBOTS CAN HAVE FEELINGS TOO stuff. I think the corporation that owned the robots sent a security drone after them, which resulted in more wacky mayhem? I think they ended up faking their destruction so the corp would quit hassling them, and the movie ends with them celebrating in a junkyard.

Most of the android-type robots were actors in Tin-Man style metallic face paint. I could have sworn Chevy Chase played the main character, but nothing like this seems to be in his filmography.

An old Western I caught on TV as a kid. A bunch of characters are trapped inside a house together because of a huge storm. In the scene I remember there's an overt villain, two good guys and a woman; something pisses off the villain hands Good Guy 1 a pistol and challenges him to a quickdraw duel. Good Guy refuses and for whatever reason Good Guy 2 does it instead (to protect the woman, or for a huge wager or something?). The villain shoots him dead and when the remaining two check the body they realise his gun never had any bullets. The woman's all 'you knew it was rigged, you felt the gun was too light or something, right?' and the guy's all 'that's definitely what happened I'm not just a huge coward'.

For whatever reason that scene stayed with me and surely no-one remembers Generic Western #6953, but hey it's goons let's give it a shot.

I'm trying to find the name of this film I found a while back, but forgot all about until now. The problem is it sounded rather complicated and I have only a vague recollection of the plot so I don't know how helpful this will be. Basically it sounded like a character drama but with some kind of mystery or parallel worlds twist. I think it could possibly have been about a couple whose reality shifts each day or something? I think it was fairly new, at least with the last few years but possibly from 2014 or 2013.

I'm looking for the title of an obscure film that was either direct to DVD or made for TV (possibly sci-fi channel) involving a Army base in the desert that is being decommissioned and all of it's chemical/biological weapons removed. There's a forgotten room in the bottom of a bunker that contains mutated cells that absorb all forms of energy to reproduce endlessly. These cells were created by a former Soviet scientist who was trying to create the ultimate biological weapon. One of the scientist's descendants (grandson maybe) helps the Army guys discover this room, letting loose the surviving cells and they eventually expand to cover the entire base. The cells are hostile to everything but the scientist's descendant which is used as a plot device to fight back using his blood.

I think it had a really generic title which may be why I can't remember the name. The film was made in the 2000's. Thanks and good luck!
