its a good game, although its definitely different from the original

if you want a remake of the original xcom then xenonauts is the best choice

xcom: enemy within is basically an addition on the base game of enemy unknown and its really fun since it adds cybernetic and genetic modification as well as a lot of other features

while xcom:eu has differences from the original its still a very fun game and keeps the turn based combat and base management of the original but is still fairly difficult if you don't constantly reload you saves like ironamn mode prevents

hang on is the new xcom already called xcom enemy unknown? the recent one huh. yeah it fuckin rules. only the animations are unskippable which kills it for me

im not one of the many in games who are level 20+ which requires like loving 20+ hours to get and bored of the game already, declaring it poo poo

reminds me of the thin glasses wearing fuckos in mmos who rush to get to the end game then complain there is nothing left to do

I'm level 10 and finally completed a strike and everything is still as bullet-spongy as ever

the fight with the walker thing in the first strike is probably the worst-designed fight ever

horrible cover close to the gigantic bag of HP that can instagib you, and endlessly respawning guys

so all the groups I've been in just hang way back at a specific spot and plink at it for literally like 40 minutes until it's dead because if you try to actually fight it with any other tactics you just get owned by the 20 loving guys around it or get winged by the walker's instadeath cannon

meanwhile the last boss is still a huge bucket of HP that I managed to solo down to 1/4th of its health before the adds it spawns had their pathfinding unbreak and came up and murdered me
