From a gameplay perspective, it sounds worth it to spend the gems if your focus is to keep the second event card as either a working duplicate or idolization fodder to get more score value out of the one single card. Definitely cheaper than blowing more gems on maybe someday drawing a UR. But I guess Nozomi fanboyism is valid too

It's true. At this point I'm just praying I stay above 1000 by the end of the event(I'm at 500-ish right now). I have a few more hearts to help boost me up, at least. This is also the last event I'll dedicate this much time/effort into, it's so draining.

Holy poo poo. I dropped from ~650 at 11 pm to like ~1300+ by the end of it. That's bananas. This event was different. 26600+ pts for rank 1000 is way higher than previous ones, right? Maybe it's more players or maybe just this one because perfect lock or whatever, but if they're like this from here out I may give up on chasing second SRs.

I am just patiently waiting for my first UR and getting gems and the SR from events for now. At least I'm halfway to the next 11 draw and this weeklong event will make that much easier. Maybe with a UR I can try competing for rank 1000 again. At least for that color.

I got a butler girl from my rank but when I went to look for the butler girl I got from accumulating event points she wasn't there so I guess I used her in training, oops. The game consoled me for my stupidity by giving me a Honoka SR, an Eli SR, and a Nico UR when I spent 50 gems though. I'm really glad for that because now I can switch away from my Honoka UR as my leader character, her menu talk is annoying.

Sorry if this's been asked before, but I'm curious: does anyone know exactly how to level up a card's skill level? Some of my cards are permanently stuck on Lv1, while some are at Lv2 for whatever reason. I was thinking it'd depend on Super/Ultra Successful training, which itself seems to be random.

You feed them dupes, like PAD. There's some sort of mechanic involved where you're guaranteed a skillup if the cards are the same skill level, I think, and the greater difference in card skill level, the lower chance of success. So like, take a dupe R Smile Honoka, feed it to itself, you get skill level 2. Feed it another, and you may or may not get the skillup. But feed another to yet another so that you now have two skill 2 cards, then feed one of those to the other, and you're guaranteed level 3. Something like that.

Yeah, I'm not feeling After School Navigators at all. The song itself is such a weird juxtaposition, not to mention the chart itself isn't that fun. It also feels offsync somewhat, kind of like No Brand Girls...but that may just be my phone.

Spotted this thread a few days ago and have been playing since then. Game is pretty fun! Great fit for the touch screen input. Any tips for newbies? Should I be saving up as much gems as I can for the 10 + 1 card draw? What cards should I level? I've got my original leader up to 20 or so.

Level all your cards to max, starting with your starter R (or SR/UR if you're super lucky I guess). Get additional Rs with all the friend points you'll get from rank, combo, and event rewards. And save your gems for now, no point in using them to refresh LP at low rank, and certainly not worth it to use them for continues if you gently caress up a song. Just keep ranking up for now, don't let your LP stay full longer than you have to, and try to earn enough event points for the SR.
