I'm guessing the next week of comics will be just him using the word "Redskins" as much as he can. grading essays nude fucked around with this message at 00:01 on Sep 18, 2014 |

That Zatanna reference in Nancy, a comic (currently) about down-home country folks, is a nerdier reference than anything in Intelligent Life, a comic about nerds trying to deal with jocks.

Mike Lester is 100% using the Redskins purely because of the controversy over the team name right now. I'm pretty sure we're in for at least a week of him just having "REDSKINS" in every comic to stick it to liberals. Wouldn't be surprised if he throws in a comic with someone complaining about the team name and a native American in the final panel getting upset that they are offended. CaptainCaveman posted:The fact that the solution to this one involves ignoring information that it outright tells you makes it possibly the best example of the strip. Especially since I'm pretty sure there was one a few weeks back where the solution was "This one guy isn't actually left-handed even though he's doing a left-handed thing, he's actually ambidextrous!"

I don't know which phone hand I favor, now that I think about it. I suspect I like to keep the right free for writing and stuff, but that doesn't come up every time. I will note that an unusual number of modern US presidents are left-handed. That really has nothing to do with anything, I just find it interesting. I'm right-handed and I keep my phone in my left pocket, mostly use it with my left hand and definitely hold it on my left ear during calls. At least until it gets too hot and I have to switch sides. Although to be fair, I am a bit ambidexterous when it comes to some things. Fingerpori Not the smoothest English, but I guess it's fine. Fok_It Pretty sure this is in reference to the MTV Push event that was recently organized in Helsinki. It was a happening that spanned three days and apparently included concerts and some kind of fashion stuff and I don't even know, all in an attempt to butter up the MTV European Music Awards organizers to hold the next one in Helsinki. The problem was that somehow nobody knew about it thanks to lovely marketing and the whole thing was more or less a flop and a waste of money. Not that it wasn't from the start, who the hell cares about MTV these days tiistai fucked around with this message at 12:07 on Sep 18, 2014 |
