I think a more "realistic" Section 31 ship would be something like a Runabout with an upgraded warp drive and a phase-cloak. I don't see them having enough operatives to crew a big ship. They mostly work alone and sneak around.

The Intel Cruiser clocks in at 350 crewmen, and its the biggest of the three the Feds get.

Just wondering about how gameplay will shake out post expansion. Sounds like the 0-50 game is exactly the same and you could potentially play at 50 for some time, just like now. Once you decide to get into harder actual gameplay (new rep STFs) only then would you need to do something about gear/levels/ship/loadout. Or am I totally wrong?

The thing I like about it is that it's very similar to the Constitution in terms of overall proportions and layout, and it's nice to see the classic original layout of the saucer-hull-nacelle. If the neck plummeted straight down it'd be really obvious. Just wish there were some alternate parts to make it better.

For a short while they have another ARC code for a Holo-Leeta. This came from their Twitch stream today, so I don't know how long it will work. spnXI8OK After entering it in ARC, you have to go in game and claim it from the C-store under Items.

Is there any way to set a custom resolution for windowed mode, maybe via some config file? The mac client can't have its edges dragged, and I want to set it to 2560x1396 so it fits better. Also maybe it's my imagination but the mac client feels a little more responsive now.

I swapped to arc a while back in the vain hope it would be a better connection so I plugged that code in, it said it worked but when I logged in I have no freebie. Anyone have any Mogai Heavy Warbird tips? I'm totally hating this ship since it feels like a glass cannon and even then, it barely feels like a cannon. Heavy plas hybrid disrupter cannons, plasma torpedo and plasma array in the front, plasma turrets in the rear. I try to battle cloak before engaging as much as possible, but I tend to draw a lot of fire from mobs and unlike a cruiser I can't take the punishment.

Lose the array and the torpedo, load up on cannon skills then use your cloak for hit and run attacks on large targets.

Get rid of all the cannons and run beams with the Valdore console and the Ionized Particle console to get a +25 weapon power drain resistance and +5 weapon power. Just running the Valdore console will automatically keep your shields up 100% of the time. You only need to worry about bleedthrough as long as you keep your dps up.

Torps aren't bad on an escort, it's the one ship type you want to use them on actually since you will be facing the enemy most of the time in combat. Dyson Grav Torp is preferred on most builds over other torps.

I can certainly see the charm in using escorts' superior speed and maneuverability to constantly stay in an enemy's blind spot. No, even though you choose sides early on, the Romulans still have a specific story arc they follow. They share a number of missions with Feds and Klanks, but don't get access to Fed or Klank specific missions. Which is a good thing, since Romulan missions are much newer than Fed missions and a much better experience to play through.
