I agree, but I'm confused about what specific kinds of crackpot conspiracism you can expect to find among liberals and leftists. There are plenty of conspiracy movements that are by and for the extreme right. Christian identity, sovereign citizens, etc. (Granted, a lot of these people fall into the "gap" in horseshoe theory because they're so paranoid about any kind of government power.) But I can't think of many markedly left-wing conspiracy theories. Icke and LaRouche's followers, I guess?

For every leftist movement, there's a conspiracy version that adds "and the people behind all this are the USA/Israel/Jews/the Fed" to it. Granted, a lot of them are pretty compatible with right-wing conspiracies, but there are tons of USA-centric left-wing conspiracy theorists, especially outside the USA. (Although there's the problem that conspiracy theories regarding US foreign policy occasionally turn out to be true.)

Time for a facebook roundup. These have been bouncing around lately and are pretty awesome. Prepare for geocities-grade websites and lots of jpgs with arrows pasted all over them.

MORE PROOF THAT ISIS = CIA / MOSSAD

quote:

Where exactly is this ISIS (Israeli Secret Intelligence Service?) based? Where do they sleep? Where do they do their banking? How did they pay for their fleet of pick-up trucks and sophisticated weaponry? How are they feeding and re-equipping their fighters? Where do their injured fighters get medical treatment?

A bunch of 'good-ole-boys' could not have assembled and trained such an advanced force while going unnoticed

What Internet Provider Service is allowing them to post videos and issue 'recruitment' tweets? How did the all-intrusive NSA miss the creation of this group? Why can't the CIA. M-16 and Mossad infiltrate them and smash them from within? Why can't we pinpoint them via satellite and smash them in their tents or barracks? How did such a formidable force like ISIS just seem to materialize out of nowhere and overnight? Why don't they attack or even threaten to attack Israel?

Hmm, yes, good point. I wonder who their ISP is and if they get a different family rate with multiple wives.

ISIS has brand new Toyota trucks…courtesy of the White House, no I’m not joking
ISIS™ Drives Texas-made Toyota Trucks Apparently Modified for U.S. Special Forces

quote:

Isn’t it strange that “ISIS” just happens to be pictured along with a convoy of Toyota trucks that at least appear to be modified the exact same way special forces has them outfitted before shipping them from the factory in Texas?
When you combine this latest discovery with the fact that “ISIS” has 1. U.S. military small arms 2. U.S. military Humvees 3. U.S. military artillery 4. U.S. citizens running their online social media campaigns 5. John McCain met with destabilization campaign terrorists in Syria including someone from the newly formed “ISIS” in March of 2013… what conclusion would a reasonable person come to?

That's kinda a loaded question, guys...

Also, getting nice toys to play with is easier when several countries *COUGHFranceCOUGH* are paying tens of millions in ransom money.

If Top Gear has taught me anything its that Toyota Hiluxs are made out of the same magic space material they made the original gameboy out of, and are pretty much impossible to completely destroy by anything short of an RPG to the engine block.

Toyotas have better suspension systems don't they? I mean it'd really come down to whichever truck works best in desert conditions company lobbied the most effectively for a contract to supply trucks.

Isn't ISIS comprised of the group(s) that McCain visited in secret and had his picture taken with in Syria?

My Gameboy had a battery explode(sorta?) in it while I was using it (fighting Magnate in FFL2) and the battery acid/whatever the flaky poo poo was that came out didn't harm the handheld in any way.

Wendy's used to make their spoons out of that same Grey Plastic of Durability +5 and you had to give those things some serious abuse to break one.

The Toyota Hilux is the most popular platform for technicals everywhere, so there are consequently a lot of people who know how to modify, maintain, and repair them, plus easy access to spare parts etc. It makes sense in the same way that multinational forces using ammunition in a few standardized calibers does.

I think Magnate is some kind of curse for Game Boys. The first time I got to Echigo-ya's goons my game glitched out when I won, made some weird sounds and then I was fighting Magnate. Then it froze when I won. It never happened again and I have no idea what caused it.

Maybe we need a Magnate conspiracy.

That's kind of what they did on Top Gear, when they tried to kill one and failed. Eventually they gave up and decided to put it on a plinth in the back of their studio where it remains to this day. Thats after running it though multiple sheds, setting it on fire, having it washed out to sea for 12 hours until low tide, and having a 30 story building imploded underneath it. By the end the entire chassis was cracked through and the only thing connecting the front to back was the drive train, but the thing still ran with no spare parts.
