Is there an upper limit to how big the cache will grow? It would be great to have a clear cache button in settings.

bronin posted:Yeah quoting and posting takes forever. Also refreshing the bookmark site. This is only on wifi though. LTE works like before. Went to a friend's place yesterday and saw this behaviour on his wifi, too. Fine on 3G/4G. Only a problem on iOS 8. I have noticed TweetBot behaving similarly on wifi, too. Could iOS 8 have changed something fundamental about its wifi communications that individual apps may run afoul of depending on how their networking was done?

Also copying image links and copying images themselves is broken in iOS 8. After trying one of these things the Share button stops working too.

Googling suggests that a lot of people are having wi-fi issues in ios8 across many apps when LTE is fine.

I accidentally left-swiped a bookmark, and didn't touch the remove button, but got to watch it disappear anyway. I tried shaking to undo, like in Mail, but no joy. iOS 7 iPad landscape. I didn't notice which one it was, so now it'll bug me all day.

I saw this linked elsewhere about slow wifi performance when the router is something other than WPA2. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6545103 FWIW, mine is set to WPA2 and I haven't noticed any slowdown issues with the app.

When I'm at the end of a thread and I pull up to refresh, I get scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page instead of staying at the first unread post. It's quite annoying to then try to manually scroll to some unknown point in the middle of the page somewhere. iOS 7 on iPhone 5c. This did not happen in earlier versions of awful.

I sometimes get stuck in the post editing screen. Cancel -> Delete Edit does nothing and the only way to proceed (even quitting the app from holding down the home key doesn't help) is to actually edit the post. Have only seen this on my iPhone 4S so far. Edit: it happens on the iPad as well. Tried editing this post and now I need to add this edit to get out Smol fucked around with this message at 16:07 on Sep 25, 2014 |

Had a pie in the sky kind of idea (that I wish the forums had); what if, just like highlighting your own username and quoted text, as well as thread starter, it also highlights people in your Buddy List? I know the OP highlight is a forums feature, and you grab the logged-in user name from the account, but could there be a good way to pull the Buddy List, such as when Bookmarks refresh?

I don't think 8.0.2 actually fixed any bugs aside from the one breaking service and Touch ID, honestly. I mean, no one is reporting anything being fixed, yet the same issues we had with 8.0 are popping up left and right.
