It doesn't but if you bought DLC for the PS3 version it'll transfer to PS4.

I'm guessing it won't play anything like the first one, it'll be a brand new game but with a story reboot. I'm looking forward to it because Into the Nexus felt like Up Your Arsenal/A Crack in Time quality, but with an ending screen far too soon. A Crack in Time was five years ago, so they need to make one more full-length game on the PS4 since Nexus showed they still had it in them.

I"m getting a PS4 in a few days and was still a little confused about one feature. Is there anyway to use the controller's headphone jack for voice chat but still have the audio come through my home theater system? I'd rather not have to go out and get a special headset if I can use my existing set for voice chat.

So I'm thinking about jumping in here in about 5 weeks. I'm doing my "purchase" research. What are the best mono headsets for the system? Or is the pack in fine if I'm just using it for voice? I have a boss audio setup so I don't want my audio going through a headset. Just voice.

If they changed the physics in LBP wouldn't that potentially break content made before the change? Though after LBP3 I'd be down with a new PS4-only version that doesn't need to worry about compatibility and makes proper use of the extra power. The new villain being called 'Newton' makes me wonder if the physics engine is the villain this time.

The way I read it in the OP was that if you put a headset into the controller everything was routed through the headset. Was just making sure that wasn't the case.

I am terrible at sports video games. I also hate money. I purchase a soccer game every year, play it for a week, and decide that I suck at soccer and never touch it again. This year it looks like Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 and FIFA 2015 are being released for the PS4. I remember PES being pretty good on the PC because you could download licensed stadiums and team kits. Also, as an American I am not invested in Euro leagues anyway. I have no idea who most of the players are and calling Fulham Football Club the West London Whites doesn't really ruin my immersion. Does anyone know if the PS4 version of PES 15 will allow you to download uniforms and rename teams? Doing so will help me convince a buddy of mine to go with PES this year instead of FIFA. Also, if I could replace the lovely stock music with MP3s or something, that'd be great too. I enjoy the slower pace and ball physics of the PES games and am trying to decide if it's worth going through the rear end pain to get things setup a little better or if I should just cave and buy FIFA with my buddy. Also, I really loving hate that card buying Ultimate Team bullshit. It's just a money sink that stupid people buy into.

Alien Isolation and The Evil Within for different flavours of horror game. There's some obsure TRPG called 'Natural Doctrine' approaching, but I don't know much about it other than it's difficult and ugly. Reviews weren't great. There's also The Witness, the Braid creator's much bigger next puzzle game, ostensibly on the way in 2014.

Also there is Lords of the Fallen which seems to be trying to capture some of that Dark Souls magic and I think also has some devs notable for past projects?

The Evil Within looks completely loving insane and brutal, really can't wait for that one. I've been watching the trailers for it lately and it looks like what survival horror should evolved into a while back.

The story doesn't change but the context for the story does. I played on medium and found it dissonant in a mildly irritating way, the trip reports from people who played on Hard sound much more appropriate.

Survivor is the most fun (haven't played grounded but I hear it's a bitch). Having to manage ammo and not relying on a magic X-ray button improves the atmosphere a lot. It's not insanely hard either but it will provide a solid challenge at times. I don't think i ever felt completely stuck. If that doesn't sound like your thing easy will still net you a good story if nothing else. I really feel that game's gameplay shines on harder modes though.

DriveClub PS+ Edition does not count as one of the two October PS+ games, so we will be getting DriveClub and two other games. PS+ games will be revealed October 1st, according to info posted by the PSN thread, and released on October 7th (no doubt to time it with DriveClub's release day.) I would caution everyone against getting hyped for both PS+ games being full retail releases or something, because with DriveClub's release they probably want more focus on that even if it doesn't count for one of the spots. I'd assume it will follow the pattern they've established of new indie game releasing today + old indie game that's been out for 5+ months. Also, Pier Solar, the JRPG that was only released for the Genesis in 2010 on a limited print run of cartridges, is getting an HD release on September 30th that includes the option to play the original game or a reworked version. No word on pricing yet.
