I can't seem to escape goddamn leadership positions even in college, gently caress. It's the third day of school this semester, everyone else is still trying to dress all impressive. I'm in my stupid cat t-shirt that says 'Too lazy, can't move', and they still pick my rear end out as the one that'll make sure we get poo poo done. gently caress it, I'll just start wearing dresses.

I only caught a handful of episodes in the first season but I could see getting sucked into it. I've come to learn there's little point in questioning the quality of FX shows, they'll all suck you in eventually.

Just had to travel 270 miles, one way, to the VA hospital for an appointment tomorrow. I tried to get them to move it to the hospital 10 miles from my place, but they refused despite the new law, because they haven't figured out how to implement it yet. They offered me 'accommodations' since I was traveling so far. I figured they'd put me up in a hotel at the government rate. Nope. They have their own little building on the hospital campus complete with a fire alarm in the room that makes a constant loud rear end hum and blood stains on the mattress. Just gotta make it to tomorrow so some specialist can tell me that he has never heard of my condition and has no idea how to treat it. Well last night was the first time I thought I might have to use a gun in self defense. Some dickhead was trying to open my apartment door with the wrong key at a little after 3 am. He was probably drunk or something because he tried for a full minute while I grabbed my pistol and went to the door to confront him. He went away when I asked him through the door who the gently caress he was. gently caress getting woken up 3 hours early when you have work in the morning.

she's gone shooting before, grew up in the country, knows how to handle a gun. she's actually been shooting more recently than me. I still haven't gone to the local indoor range to shoot the P38, so when she gets whatever she's going to get we're going to go together. I have no idea what she's planning to get.
