Gamefly is seriously the worst. Paying like 20 bucks per month to play games that are several years old because anything thats come out in the past year is perpetually out of stock is dumb as hell. Or you can 'hack' your queue which usually results in me going a week or so with no game at all.

I find Gamefly worth the Q hassle because it saves me money. It sucks not having games the week prior to a new release but it's worth it because the day before release they've shipped my new games. Gonna eat well this fall. I simply don't have the cash to buy new games.

Well, I watched this video today and was totally convinced:

It actually seems like a fresh, new experience. We can't really judge whether it gets repetitive or is really buggy or whatever, but it certainly looks appealing from what I've seen so far.

The problem I have justifying it right now in particular is that Gamestop started offering a much more fair amount of money for trade ins. Like, I traded in Watch Dogs for 42 dollars almost a month after I bought it. I would rather have it on release day, play it for awhile, and then just trade it in whenever. But thats just me. loving around with gamefly really annoyed me when I had it, but I admit I havent actually had it since maybe 2007ish so maybe its improved or something.

Gamefly isn't perfect, and while I'll say that it can sometimes take a while to get a game, that actually works better for my style, since it gives me time to work on my backlog in the meantime. Anything I want, I'll go ahead and buy elsewhere, but I love Gamefly for letting me try out those B-tier titles I'm not quite sure about. And then if I love them, I pay well under the current used price to keep them. It's definitely not a means of getting the hot new titles, but as a way of testing out those games that came out a month ago that you heard were alright, it's the poo poo.

I had a gamerang subscription and at one point I had the same 2 discs out for 6 months cause I just wasn't playing games for a while. They had raised the prices so I didn't want to cancel cause if I use it again I would be charged more but I ended up just forgetting about it and my credit card expired and they never got any more money. I think I still have the discs somewhere.

It looks quite a bit different from Dark Souls. Just from watching the gameplay trailer you can tell:

- there are no shields, so turtling is no longer an option
- the game is faster paced, and has more enemies on screen
- there are guns
- weapons have transformations, which none of the Souls games had

It's even more different if you dig into some of the pre-release information.

That said, there's a huge amount of people that would be totally sold on the game if you told them it was "more Dark Souls". The fact development is being led by the DeS and DS1 guy certainly helps, and the game just looking amazing helps as well.

Bloodborne is going to be one of the bigger games of 2015, y'all watch.

Ha. Yeah "more Dark Souls" is enough for me to be completely pumped, but it really looks like they are trying to do something new enough for it to feel a bit different while remaining something that will appeal to Souls fans. Basically my dream game in a nutshell. Also, the graphics are a huge improvement which is cool because it's always been kind of a low budget series.

I'm excited for it, but 'a fresh, new experience' is not what I'm expecting from Lord of Arkham's Creed.

I'm looking forward to a game with more souls style combat, challenging difficulty levels, and what looks to be a pretty awesome co-op system based on the leaked information.

And yea, the art on this looks to blow the art in the Souls series proper away.

I have been having major issues since the last update with things in the PS4's UI either not loading or loading very slowly. It's always been bad but it's hit the point where my PS4 will be barely functional at times and I have to restart it just to get things to load at all. Is this something everyone is experiencing? If not is there something I can do like re-download the last update. This is getting pretty absurd.

I'm probably part of the problem because I'm genuinely saddened by the leap forward in timeline and pseudo-Victorian setting. I would have been happy with Demon's Souls 2, this time with mindblowing textures and hot rodded graphics.

Everything is there instantly for me. The most I have to wait for anything to load is about 2-3 and that's not often. What does your network speed test say? I'm pretty sure it's dependent on your connection.

I just read some Bloodborne leaks. Sounds nuts.

There's a blood choice at the start and you have to manage a disease and collect/transfuse your blood through the game.

No health aids during boss fights.

You could become a boss in NG mode or via defeating a boss while in a covenant

You can summon people via your friends list.

Isn't this just stuff some guy on reddit is claiming is true with no real evidence besides 1 image that may or may not be real? Not only that, but you the alleged leak actually said no health consumables during bosses only if you summmon an ally to help you.

10.5 mbps (drat the wireless on this thing sucks I get about 70 on everything else). It's basically a total crapshoot whether or not my friends list, PS store, messages and parties will load right away, not load at all or load so slowly it's useless. It's gotten bad enough that things just wont load at all about half the time and I have to reset. I have always had problems like this with the PS4 but they were really minor until the last update which made the UI unusable half the time. I have no problems playing online or downloading games/updates.

I just saw a post on r/ps4/ yesterday talking about a guy who had this EXACT issue and accessed some option to reset a cache or something and after doing so everything was totally back to normal. I'm on my phone and can't easily pull it up right now so you might want to scan the first page or two of the subreddit and see if you find it, but if not I'll pull it up later
